Summary: Shirley Temple stars as a young girl sent to boarding school when her doting father is sent to war. Her father becomes missing in action and is rumored to be dead. Convinced that her father is still alive, Shirley sneaks out to the local hospitals in the hopes of finding him - and proving the evil headmistress wrong.
